WINGS OVER ILLAWARRA 2022 IS CONFIRMED!

Wings Over Illawarra 2022 is officially going ahead!

SPAA is planning on attending the event with our marquee and several seaplanes on display. If you’re planning on attending  or are able to assist with our presence at the event please register your interest. Bookings for the event will be handled by the Wings Over Illawarra website, we are just hoping to gauge members interest. Hope to see you there!

The airshow is confirmed for the 12th & 13th November 2022. The airshow is not only an impressive aviation event for enthusiasts and industry members, but is also an exhilarating day out for the whole family!

Wings Over Illawarra 2022 plans to feature a flying display that is second to none! The airshow will also entertain with free carnival rides for the kids, food trucks galore, static aircraft displays, roving entertainment, classic car exhibits and helicopter joy flights! You can also access the HARS Aviation Museum to get up close with some spectacular vintage aircraft.

About the Event:

Wings Over Illawarra is Australia’s largest annual airshow and is held in the Illawarra on the NSW south coast just over an hour south of Sydney. Situated in a picturesque location with an amazing backdrop of the Illawarra escarpment, it is the only major airshow experience within easy reach of metropolitan Sydney and Canberra.

Its diverse program includes ground displays and flying demonstrations of historic, military, modern and aerobatic aircraft as well as vintage car and motorbike displays, children’s rides and other aviation and technology related exhibitions.
